Peach Dump Cake Recipe

This peach dump cake recipe is simple and easy to make. It is made with yellow cake mix and canned peaches in heavy syrup for a comforting dessert anytime. 4 ingredients make it. Serve warm with ice cream for the ultimate summer dessert!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 14.5 oz cans canned sliced peaches
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 15.25 oz box vanilla cake mix
  • ½ cup salted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Dump the 2 (14.5 oz) cans canned sliced peaches into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Then sprinkle ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon on top of the peaches and stir together.
  • Sprinkle the 1 (15.25 oz) box vanilla cake mix evenly over the peaches and cinnamon. Use the back of a baking spatula to level the cake mix layer.
  • Slice the ½ cup salted butter into 35 thin pads, then cover the surface of the cake mix with the butter pads.
  • Allow the dump cake to bake in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until the top of the cake turns golden brown.
  • Let it cool for at least 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

NOTES

 
  • To store leftovers, you can tightly wrap the baking dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil or transfer leftovers into an airtight container. Then store the covered leftovers in the refrigerator to enjoy for up to 3 days.
  • Peach Pie Filling can be used in place of canned peaches.
